Oladipo Adesida is an Author, Writer, Voice Over Artist, TV/Film/Radio Producer and development Marketing consultant.
Dipo is currently the Chief Operating Officer of Verdant Zeal Group, a multidisciplinary marketing & communications consultancy where he focuses his energy on creating positive narratives for brands through media-neutral platforms.
He started his career in advertising as a trainee concept copywriter in SO&U Saatchi & Saatchi, Lagos, and later joined Immersion Marketing Strategies, Lagos as a Senior Copywriter.
In March 2007, Oladipo joined Verdant Zeal, then a startup, wearing multiple caps and rising through the ranks: pioneer copywriter, TV/Radio producer, editor-at-large, Creative Director, Content, Synergy and Innovation Director.
With a background in Theatre Arts and many years of writing in different formats: commercial, documentary, stage, fiction, non-fiction, narrative, short film, and most recently, feature, Oladipo is passionate about writing. He encourages people to write. And he believes that writing can be taught through transferred intelligence because 100 years from now, only what is written will be remembered.
Dipo holds a first degree in Dramatic Arts from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, a Diploma in Filmmaking from New York Academy, and a Certificate in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK.
He is also an alumnus of the British Council/University of Glamorgan (now University of South Wales) Centre for Creative Enterprise Development and one of 500 Africans honoured as Mandela Washington Fellows for Young African Leaders by President Barack Obama in 2015.
